The weird laws in Maryland are the ones that state you can’t smoke in public places and that you must cover your mouth when you drink from a public fountain. If you don’t want to go to the movies with your family, you can’t. You can’t leave the house without being with your family. And the list goes on.
You can get arrested for these things in Maryland, which is why I find it funny that people think it’s just a coincidence that I’ve been arrested for smoking in public places. It’s not, it’s because of these laws that a lot of people think that if you’re arrested for smoking in public places, you’re going to be held for a long, long time.
You know what I can’t get enough of? The fact that there is no public fountains in Maryland. Theyre all private fountains. Maybe if they were public, they could have fountains that actually worked, or they could use some damn water pressure.

You just can’t stand it that the law says you have to go to a certain place to get water, but you can’t just go there. So you just kind of go where you feel like it, like a lot of people in Maryland go to, and that’s the only place a public water fountain is.
I guess I just have a strange aversion to places that charge for getting water. I mean, there are so many public services where I feel like the law and the rules of the game should be just a little bit different. But I cant even explain how much I hate the idea of having to choose a public water fountain when I could just go to a public water fountain and just buy it.
