Just like many other things, there are a number of customs and border protection salary customs in the United States, as well as in other countries. For example, the salary of customs agents in the U.S. is $20,000 a year.
The average US customs agent made over $90,000 a year in 2010. The average rate of inflation in the last 2 years in the U.S. has been 3.2%. This means that the salary of a US customs agent has steadily gone up. But the salary of a customs agent in Europe and Asia is much less. A European customs agent earns a bit over $20,000 a year.
With the ever growing cost of goods, the average salary for customs agents in the European countries is only 7,000 a year.
In the U.S. Customs is one of the largest jobs in the country. The average salary in the U.S. is over 50,000. It’s expected to rise to 70,000 with higher salaries and bonuses. At some point, the average salary for a customs agent in Europe/Asia will drop to around 7,000 a year.
But is that really enough? I mean, if you are paying a minimum wage for a job that will only pay you 6,000 at the most, you are not earning enough to even be a part of it. I think the average American worker is currently making more than the average European worker. So it makes sense for Americans to be worried about the gap between the two.
The salary for a customs agent in the EU is currently about 9,000 a year, though you should expect to see a drop in the years ahead. Europe is actually currently the best paid country for government jobs, so it is hard to see how this will affect you. In the US, the government is still working to reduce the gap, but it will be difficult for a worker to be making more than the average worker.
There’s also the possibility that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has started to cut its salary and/or benefits in order to fund the cost of building a border wall. It is true that CBP is currently using a budget of just over $7 million a year to maintain its current staffing levels and to pay for the construction of the current border wall, so there is a possibility that CBP will have to lay people off and cut back on the number of agents it has.
CBP is one of the larger government agencies with over 300,000 employees. Its employees make over 2.5 million a year. It is therefore very likely that it will be forced to lay off workers in order to fund the cost of the border wall. The only other government agency that has such a huge workforce is the State Department, which works with over 1.3 million employees.
The Department of Homeland Security is currently the largest employer in the country with over 12,000 employees. The State Department has over 900,000 employees.
This salary is almost certainly going to be paid to the workers who will be laid off. The only way to make sure that Congress doesn’t just give themselves more money to do their dirty work is for the government to tell all of us how to think, speak, and act, like the US government is the only one in America capable of doing such a thing.
