As a lawyer, I have a number of paralegal positions to fill, and I do not regret taking this one. There are so many great paralegal jobs available on the internet. This is where I can work on my own projects, or even work with other paralegals on projects.
There are a lot of people in the legal world who do not love what they do. I mean, look at all the paralegals who get sued on a regular basis, or who have to deal with legal harassment, or who have to endure the indignities of being fired from their jobs. It is not fun.
paralegals are, by and large, volunteers. There are plenty of legal and paralegal jobs out there, and there are a lot of people who love the work they do. So, like any job, there is a lot of opportunity for people to make money. In this case, I’m helping people get their best legal representation, and helping them build their careers.
There is a huge difference between a paralegal and a lawyer. In fact, I have seen paralegals come out of the woodwork who were well connected in the legal field, but who did not know how to handle the process of writing a contract. I also saw a paralegal who, because they were not being paid, had to do their work on their own time.
