When I first started working at the law firm I was at, a fellow attorney asked me to write a blog post about this law firm. I was honored to be asked to do so, and after about a month of blogging about what I do, I knew I wanted to write a very honest and honest post about the type of legal work we do. And you know what? I couldn’t do this without the help of some of my paralegal colleagues.
paralegal work is the work of an attorney who will take the case of a client, who cannot afford an attorney, and who is not represented by an attorney. I have a small law practice (and I’m not very good at it). However, by taking on a paralegal role, I am able to spend more time with my clients, and more time with my staff, and the paralegals are able to spend more time with clients.
Paralegals should take care of clients for a variety of reasons. They have to help with court appearances and filing, they have to be the primary contact between lawyer and client, they have to represent clients in court, and they should also be the primary contact between law firm and client because they are the ones who will deal with the legal paperwork that’s coming from the other side.
Paralegals should also take care of clients because they are the ones that will provide the legal knowledge to the legal teams. In other words, they will be the ones that the lawyers have to speak to when the negotiations with the client are ending. They also have to be the ones that the lawyers will have to speak to when the negotiations with the client are ending.
In my opinion the biggest difference between law firms and paralegal jobs is that the paralegals are always being asked to do more and more, but the law firms are always being asked to do less. The bigger law firms are often the ones that have a lot of other people doing other things, which means they have more time to be doing legal work, but less time to do other things that actually make a difference in the outcome of a case.
The difference is that paralegals (and lawyers) are allowed to work more hours than lawyers, and many have to work 40 or more hours a week, which can often be the difference between success and failure. The paralegal job I like the most is the one that is in the city I live in. I work the office hours (which are only 8:00-5:00) from the middle of the night all the way through the morning.
I have worked the same hours for the past four years, and have been the same amount of money for each of those years. I love the fact that I don’t have to go to work every morning, because I can take an afternoon to work on my personal projects, or I can work at home.
After working at the same company for four years, I have to say that I still prefer working at home. My office is on a farm, and I live in a small town where I can walk to work, and not have to worry about finding transportation. I also love the fact that I am not tied down to any one company, and I can really pursue my personal interests.
I don’t know if I’d say working at home is actually a better option for paralegals. I do believe that working away from home gives your brain a chance to run at maximum efficiency. So I guess I’m just saying that working at an office can be a lot more stressful than working away from home.
