I’ve noticed that many of the people that I work with have a similar approach to their work. You can see this in how they work, how they interact with others, and how they spend their time. I like to think of myself as someone who is self-aware, because I know that I am not alone. And if you think about it, it makes sense. It is important to be aware of ourselves and our world.
And the same goes for our work. You need to be aware of the things that you accomplish during your day. When you have a project, you need to be aware of what you’re working on, what you’re working towards, and what you’re focusing on. If you do not have a strong sense of purpose, then you are likely to be distracted by the things around you. And that can be a bad thing.

And that can include a wide variety of situations. For instance, if you are walking along a busy intersection and a car pulls up and speeds past you, you might feel anxious and unfocused because you are not in the moment. You dont have a conscious decision to make.
It is important to stay in the moment even if you feel distracted or anxious. And that is what the best advice I can give is. Make a conscious decision to be aware of your surroundings and then take action without thinking. You want to make a conscious decision not to worry, but also not to be worried. Then you will be more aware and less distracted.
As you might imagine, I spend most of my day in the office. And I get to witness so many of the same things that people in the office see. A lot of them are things that are not particularly exciting to me. But I try to keep up with the news, the comments, the jokes, and the memes, because it all makes me feel better. And my favorite thing about the office is that I get to see how little things matter.
