As a law school professor, I have had the opportunity to work with many law school students and grad students who were first-time law school students. I can tell you that first-time law school students have a very high rate of self-doubt. They don’t know what to do, they don’t know what they want to do, they are overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.
Well, I can tell you that one of the first things that I did when I was teaching was to put students in a room and explain to them that we were going to talk about the most important decisions they would make during law school.
I’m sure that all first-time law students will agree it was a pretty easy talk to start with. It really is only the most important decisions that students will probably need to make during law school. But it works.
We’ve all thought to ourselves “I’d love to have some extra money in my pocket so I can do what I want.” But the reality is that most of us don’t have that extra money and the law school we want to do doesn’t really matter. What matters is the people who go to law school.
It’s a truism that law school is a grind. You work for a long time, you pay a lot of money, and you do a lot of things that no one outside of law school wants to do. What law school teaches you is that it is not the job of the student to take care of these things.
In the beginning, you just work hard, save a lot of money, and go to law school. That is pretty much it. As a law student, you realize that the most important thing to you is to get out of the law school, and that is what you do. Unfortunately, a lot of law students don’t think about this, and they end up getting into situations that they would rather not be in.
For example, a lot of law students get into a lot of situations where they need to get out of the law school. So you have to convince law students that they really need to go to law school. Not only that, but they need to see that you are a good lawyer. So there are some things that you have to prepare for law school. Like how many hours per week you should spend in the classroom. How much money you need to save for law school.
Most law students don’t understand the real meaning of “law school.” So they tend to feel that it’s all about them and if they try to do their own thing, they’ll fall into the trap of getting into situations that they wouldn’t want to be in. That isn’t true though. Law school is really about you. All of the things that you have to prepare for, you do. You make the decisions that you will need to make to go to law school.
There are two types of law school. The first is the type that you go to and you take classes. The other is the type that you dont. It doesnt matter really. The school that you do go to is really a reflection of you. It is a part of you. So if your grades are a little lower than they should be, it is because of the fact that you are not taking that much class.
The other school that I would recommend is the law school that I am talking about. Yes, the school where you will be sitting in front of the judge is the same school where you will be sitting in front of the judge in the courtroom.
